About Living Principal
In her latest book, Living Principal, Victoria shares with women that it is possible to recreate yourself. In nine simple, straightforward chapters, you will learn about attitude adjustment, diet, exercise, hair care, and skin care, among other components of overall mind-body health.
Victoria also prepares women for growing older gracefully (what she calls "youthful maturity") by offering in-depth explanations of most of the options now available in anti-aging. Living Principal, however, isn't just concerned with aesthetic beauty: Victoria encourages women to "tend their souls," often accomplishing this with just ten minutes of joy a day. Ultimately, Victoria has outlined a 30-day plan to begin the journey to beautiful whole-health that can last a lifetime.

Chapter Overview of Living Principal
You can use Living Principal as a complete anti-aging plan, or individual chapters can be used to meet specific goals or needs.

Chapters 1 and 2 involve listening to your internal voice and committing to mind-body health. Women are encouraged to change their attitudes by taking charge of their inner voices. Victoria suggests creating an annual checklist (that can begin on New Year's, your birthday, or seasonal changes) of what's working and what isn't in your life. This leads to making decisions about what you can and cannot change, which choices are feasible, and which aren't.
- Life changes include: simplifying your life using the 1 to 10 scale (pg. 31); creating and celebrating a daily routine (pg. 32-37); and instituting ceremonies for yourself and your loved ones on a weekly or monthly basis (pg. 42).

Chapters 3 and 4 integrate a healthy diet and exercise plan into daily life. Victoria not only provides a complete "30-Day Diet to Lose Plan," she breaks down each meal for 30 days and provides more than 40 recipes. Also included is a "7-Day Bikini Diet," which can help you to lose weight more quickly. Victoria provides a simple encyclopedia of vitamins and supplements to improve well-being and to maintain youthful good health. She also provides a game plan that makes exercise possible and inviting anytime, anyplace.
*Please Note: It was only after writing Living Principal that I was informed of the cruel method practiced in America to produce white veal. I encourage everyone to find a healthy alternative.
- Life changes include: setting a healthy body weight goal and using the "30-Day Diet to Lose" to create a well-balanced nutritional plan for life (pg. 53-64); using the sensible "7-Day Bikini Diet" for fast emotional and physical results to help encourage you to embark upon a life-changing style of diet (pg. 66); learning what vitamins and supplements to use at different ages (pg. 166-121); and incorporating your daily routine into an exercise plan (pg. 133).

Chapter 5 addresses the issues of caring for skin, hair, eyes, and teeth. Victoria is the founder of Principal Secret, her own skin care line, and she shares many of her skin-saving tips. She also gives advice about simple and age-relevant wardrobes, as well as tips for masking body aspects that you don't want to accentuate.
- Life changes include: following three simple steps to a lifetime of healthy skin care (pg. 157-158); giving yourself a home facial (pg. 165); hair care suggestions for all types of hair (pg. 175-177); changing your wardrobe as you age (pg. 181-190).

Chapters 6 and 7 focus on "youthful maturity" (the importance of attitude when dealing with aging, menopause, and sex), as well as the anti-aging medical approaches now available to women.
- Life changes include: educating yourself about hormones, and the hormone replacement therapy and natural hormone supplements available to combat the effects of menopause (pg. 211-218), and using them to create a healthier sex life (pg. 224-226); and anti-aging medications and methods (pg. 204-208).

Chapter 8 is an exploration of the choices now available in plastic surgery. Victoria's husband, Dr. Harry Glassman presents the theory of "less is more," and gives examples of the different types of surgeries available.
- "Less is more" includes a plastic surgery education so you are better informed to make personal and life-changing surgical choices (pg. 231-247).

The final chapter, Chapter 9, encourages women to nurture their spiritual life. Victoria says that whole-health is incomplete unless there is a focus on the quality of one's spiritual life. Getting in touch with your spiritual beauty is vital to looking and feeling your best.
- Life changes include: connecting to your spirit through passion, through philanthropy, through nature, through simple acts of kindness (pg. 249-258) and by giving yourself "Ten Minutes of Joy" (pg. 261), which allows you to be in the moment for ten joyful, undemanding minutes. This can be accomplished in a simple manner for ten minutes each day (pg. 266-267).
